My work explores what it means “to be human” through the eyes of my Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My practice aims to overcome the social impairment brought on by the condition through a lifelong commitment to improving social awareness of Asperger Syndrome.<\/p>\n
I have always looked at photography with fondness, but since I was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome at age 40, it has become the perfect tool to understand what it means to be autistic. Via photos and videos, I take the time to relate to human emotions in a more controlled way exploring how to share my subjectivity with others.<\/p>\n
As a professional photographer and videographer, I use images to catch various emotions and behaviors of human beings. Editing these allows liaising neurotypical society with my divergent subjectivity.<\/p>\n
